When I go into my Minecraft and play the mod everything is just wacky (I'm trying to recreate dogcraft by StacyPlays). I do have other mods like decocraft and doggy talents, but that never affected my minecraft before. I don't know if its my computer, I play on a laptop. But the wacky part is there is only 1 spawn egg and its a wolf standing up and it teloports and makes weird sounds tbh

1.7.10 for both i found out it had some what to do with lag i'd have no idea why lag there were only 6 mods on the server and i was running it with 12 gb of ram but a lot of entities started showing up probably because i edited the config and what not also i was running another dog mod with the copious dogs at the same time it caused a lot of problems i don't know if it had to do with this mod or not??? like we would craft a ton of stuff come on the next day and it would all disappear!?? and items we never even crafted was in our backpacks instead of the items we crafted from the copious dogs mod backpacks from the backpack mod anyways.. thats that.. help? if i'm doing something wrong please let me know

I actually don't know if this is a bug or if it's intentional but I actually really like it and I was also wondering if maybe you could make color variations to some of the dogs since there are many colors of some of these dog types, for example, my Pit Bull is like a golden color. Please also let me know when you're taking dog requests because I've been doing some good research on dogs!

DeleteI'm having a problem with the Analyzer. So I can analyze them, but I can't change their name. I can type in a new name, but then there isn't like a change name button anymore. So I click "Done" and it keeps the dog's name to what it was before I tried to change it.
ReplyDeleteHi! That's a bug, I'm sorry about that. The NBT can't save the new name and it always load the old one due to the NBT not working correctly. It'll be fixed in a newer version, don't worry ^^
DeleteHey I am having the same problem, but I had tamed one dog and named it then when I tamed another dog it auto named the new dog the same as the 1st dog and now I cannot re-name the new dog. Is this fix in the process or another way to go about fixing?

When I first downloaded it there were no spawn eggs in the creative inventory and when I put collars on the newly textured dogs, it made them black and purple. When I went to the config file and changed the "eggs in creative" to true, it made all the dogs disappear. Also when I clicked the download link to support you, it gave my computer a virus :/

ReplyDeleteI actually fixed the issue sort of. So before I was running the mod with lots of other mods, so I took all of the mods out and ran the copious dog’s mod on its own. It worked. So then I added all the mods back in and it still worked! The only issue is that I can’t rename any dogs…oh well you will probably fix it soon.

In order to be able to spawn them in, you must go to your Cortana (Windows 10) or your home thingy (not Windows 10) an type in %appdata%. Then you click on .minecraft. After that click on the Config file and then click Copious Dogs. Then, scroll all the way down to the bottom and make everything true if it's not already. That will fix the spawning problem. However, I haven't figured out how to fix the collar issue.
DeleteI forgot to mention, some of the dogs are invisible, or have a little bit of a color glitch, but I'm hoping they can fix that soon as it's probably not something we can fix ourselves. (Unless you know how to do that kind of stuff, I sure don't!)

ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. But if you're wondering why each breed had different colors, they added in some variation! If you're asking why the dogs can be pink and black, I have no idea!

I can't spawn the dogs and I have to go around the world and find a dog which is pretty difficult. 2. When I tame a dog and I put a collar on it, it turns into a weird color and it makes me upset that there are nothing to fix it. Please fix this and good job on making the dogs.

ReplyDeleteSo I have just recently downloaded the 6.4.7 version for 1.7.10 and every time I download the mod my world saves won't load. It works fine with older versions it just seems to be the 6.4.7. I would just downgrade to 5.8 but I can't tame the dogs or anything because it tells me I need to update. SOS!

ReplyDeleteThe texture bug is actually caused by a workaround to make textures work on dogs in 1.10 ...we fixed this in the current closed beta and plan to publish it asap!

Your config file is located in %appdata% -> minecraft -> config -> copiousdogs ** right click the config file and open with notepad (assuming you're on windows)

ReplyDeletethis mod dosnt work. when u put a collar on the dogs they turn black and purple, the spawn eggs dont show up in creative, a weird wolf that stands on its hindlegs spawns and its rlly creepy, a bunch of the dogs will spawn in world but the texturs are black and purple. can you guys fix this please????? cuz its really annoying and i just want to suport you guys i really like this mod but omg theres so many problems! before you go on and keep ubdating the mod make sure that all your pas versions work!

Deleteplz fix the textures where you put a collar on and it replaces textures with missing textures plz find a fix or update the mod plzzz just help me fix
